Things I fell in love with this Summer.

I did a poem with a similar theme called “A list of things about her.” and you guys loved it! I hope you love this too. Let’s set a target for 25 social shares? Only if you like it. It would mean a lot to me.

Here is a list of things I fell in love with this summer:

Windows of moving cars.
Moving cars.
Doritos.
Smiling.

Polo t-shirts.
Starry nights.
Skies with no stars.
Puppies.
Sex.

Storms outside houses.
Storms inside people.
Graffiti on walls.
Languages of the heart.
Travelling.

Blinking headlights.
Water bottles and restaurants
Empty streets.
New cities.
Strangers and conversations.
You.

Bandaged statues of dead heroes.
Kids with lollipops.
Men who feared themselves.
Ruined buildings and people.
Myself.

    1. Sundresses sounds very appealing I must say, add that to the list.
Also while we are on the subject, is that a sundress you are wearing in your display picture?
      Thank you for reading!

  1. I really enjoyed the simplicity of the poem and nothing felt forced. It was a natural read, and it is something that is re-readable! Favorite line: “Languages of the heart.” I really like that one. Also you captured the feel and the theme of the summer nights/sultry vibes that I appreciated. Keep up the good work! 🙃
